Job description

Manage the full technical life-cycle of iOS applications during each development phase.

Collaborate with team members to brainstorm about new products, provide each other with technical insight, and review working drafts.

Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas (we use JIRA and Confluence)

Work from UI/UX requirements, APIs, mockups to build a functional, high-performance phone, and tablet apps.

Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization


Skills (iOS)

Strong knowledge of iOS SDK with different iOS versions as well as screen sizes (iPad as well as iPhone)

Minimum 3-4 years of Objective C and Swift

Knowledge of Xcode and Interface Builder.

Ability to work with 3rd party frameworks.


Common Skills

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Bitbucket

Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins, Atlassian stack)

Familiarity with Homebrew
