Work Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years’ business / real estate / network development related experience, 3 of which must have been in management

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of fuel retail network, the regulatory framework plus leading and motivating teams to achieve exceptional business results

 

Purpose of Job / Role Intent:

  • Accountable for the strategy development and execution of Retail’s new business development and securing of the base network.

  • Leads the Network Development and Tenure Renewal Teams

  • To champion Post Project Appraisals (lookbacks) in the Retail Network Development community and continually assess predictive modelling tools and techniques to enhance network development decision-making capabilities and effectiveness.

  • Manages large capital plans for new business and retail tenure renewals.

  • Requires strong leadership skill to build relationships with external business partners and strategic stakeholders and with internal FU and BU leaders

  • Identify market opportunities to expand sales and earnings through the existing retail network optimizing return on investment

  • Accountable for the expansion of the retail network through new business acquisitions and developing existing retail business

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Business Degree and nice to have a Master’s degree

  • Negotiation skills

  • Excellent relationship/stakeholder management

  • Proven ability to advise and influence stakeholders

  • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent intelligence gathering skills

  • Excellent mentoring and people management skills

  • Team player

  • Writing business proposals
