 To assist in the analysis, forecasting and reporting of Capacity and Performance data.
 To assist in the tracking of proposed Capacity and Performance related solutions.

o IT Governance Policy
 The job incumbent must adhere to internal Systems Design Quality Standards
 The job incumbent will liaise with various internal departments, including but not limited to:
o Systems Development Teams
o IT Infrastructure:
 Servers and Storage
 System Administration
 Networks
 Database Administration
o IT Production Team
o IT Operations
o IT Risk

7. KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Analysis, Forecasting and Reporting
 Assist with the planning and development of performance and capacity management reports that meets the needs of the IT division
 Understanding of and adherence to the Capacity and Performance Strategy, ensuring that the strategy objectives are met
 Capacity analysis
 Receive complex and sensitive information to analyse, interpret and present in an appropriate format to ensure understanding across the business
 Undertake timely and accurate analysis to enable the setting and monitoring of business priorities.
 Assist with benchmarking analysis for services
 Reporting on performance throughput
 Provide managers with information to support performance management and improvement.
 Develop / adapt information systems to report on key performance indicators to ensure that managers can measure, monitor and continuously improve IT system performance
 Ensure timeous production of capacity and performance reports
2. Tracking of Proposed Solutions
 Facilitate the process to implement proposed solutions
 Document proposed solutions
 Follow-up and reporting on progress of task execution

8. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 8.1 Qualifications
 Min:
o Grade 12
 Ideal:
o Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
o ITIL Foundation qualification
8.2 Knowledge
 Must have detailed knowledge of:
o Standards and governance
o Relevant Capacity and Performance Monitoring & Reporting tools
 Must have a sound understanding of:
o IT systems development processes (SDLC lifecycle)
o Financial systems and procedures
o Technical design and implementation processes
