Qualifications:

  • At least an undergraduate degree - B-Com, Bus Sci
  • Possibly MBA or CA

  • Strong corporate network
  • Must be able to interact confidently and professionally with C-level executives at banks, insurers and tax/auditing firms
  • Ability to delegate roles and responsibilities and install a leadership structure/hierarchy appropriate to a growing business
  • Ability to identify opportunities and the necessary steps to foster and build relationships with big partners
  • Easily interact with investors and shareholders, gather and compile required reports
  • Personable and prepared to appear on TV / radio or in print when need be
  • Visioneer with ability to connect long term outcomes with short / medium term plans, steps and milestones

 

Experience:

  • Has led a diverse team of people through a significant phase of growth of a young company/start-up
  • Has traversed unknown territory and learned what it takes to survive and thrive
  • Has created corporate growth opportunities and implemented them
  • Project management from inspiration and planning to manage all aspects of execution toward completion, or at least oversee/delegate responsibility accordingly
  • Big brand partner management including proposals, reporting, contracts, evaluation, legal, pricing and negotiation
  • Market research and data-driven approach to projections and project evaluation through financial models
  • Demonstrable track record of good leadership decisions that grew revenue
  • Five years minimum entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial experience in a growth phase of companies or departments
  • Strong on corporate and regulatory compliance
