Job Description

The junior analyst will be required to identify, aggregate and deliver key analytics and insights into a consumer profiling environment with responsibilities including:
 Maintaining, researching and evaluating analytical models, products and processes
 Optimisation of existing SAS and SQL code and processes
 Data management, analysis and report building
 Investigation, design and implementation of analytical models, products and processes
 Ad hoc queries relating to models, products and processes
 Documenting of analytical models, products and processes
 Effective communication with clients and other stakeholders
 Create and deliver value to the greater team and company

 BCom/BSc Statistics degree or equivalent – preferably Honours or Masters in Statistics

 1 – 2 Years (Experience in consumer profiling and marketing will be beneficial)

Technical skills
 Above average ability to work with, analyse, interpret and report on data
 Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques as well as practical application of these techniques
 SAS Base & SQL experience
 Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, advanced Excel and Visual Basic skills highly advantageous
 R, Python, Matlab, C++ or any other development language experience advantageous
 Ability to adapt to programming environments based on the project at hand
 Professional approach to report writing, documentation and other written communications
 Communicate with confidence, clarity and credibility

 Ability to accurately estimate work required on tasks, prioritise work and deliver to deadlines
