Job Description


Engage with Product and Sales teams to listen, interpret and translate product complexities into all forms of marketing collateral, material and messages for  internal and external clients: 
In line with industry trends and best practice, scope, develop and write content for product briefs and execute the design
Prepare marketing material for sales teams and end clients and ensure these are user-friendly
Ensure alignment and synergy in terms of branding guidelines and continually share best practice
Provide copy for the website and input into its overall look-and-feel
Prepare brochures, internal communications, messaging and product categorization for easy marketability, including input into product names
Develop standard communications to be sent to customers (e.g. thank-you and welcome letters)Develop and communicate Hyphen’s style guide
Ensure all messaging is straightforward, consistent, “smart” (polished and clever) and expressed in plain English that avoids ambiguityEdit other’s content for consistency and overall look-and-feel
Write animation scripts for product sales tools, including scripts for recorded clips
Develop presentations, e.g. for roadshows
Generate ideas for images to be used for advertisingInterpret product concepts into bite-sized manageable chunks and images for briefing purposes
Ensure all marketing collateral is aligned with regulatory requirements and changes
Update material as required (ongoing feedback loop)Print material where required
Manage guests’ experiences from a marketing perspective
Display sound project management skills in taking a brief from concept to delivery and revision
Stay in touch with internal clients’ marketing needs to ensure that what is provided stays current and relevant
Continually identify ways to enhance the brand image and external awareness, e.g. through client query management and opportunities in the media
Support the business by coming up with opportunities to grow the brand in its target markets
Assist with client events in terms of developing the theme, structure, objectives and/or marketing collateral
Provide support to business events as required
Co-ordinate all aspects of internal and external events, including theme, structure, objectives, budget, logistics, sound, light, video, schedule and agenda planning, health, safety and risk
Perform ongoing research to ensure marketing is relevant, appropriate and aligned to client and industry standards and expectations
Practice and knowledge of SEO and Google add wordsRemain abreast of changes and enhancements to products and technology, as well as competitor activity
Where possible, identify appropriate marketing analytics
Source suppliers, obtain quotes and obtain sign off for approval
Manage procurement and other relevant documentation for new suppliers
Manage the allocation of budget for general brand support
Manage day-to-day branding and design costs 
Set up and deliver training to make internal stakeholders aware of tools, products and available marketing material

Produce training material

< >5+ years’ marketing and design experience, preferably in a financial services environment

< >Relevant Degree or Diploma. 

< >Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Excellent documentation and administrative skills (report writing)
Advanced user of Microsoft Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Creative Suite, Design Principles
Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills
