·Monitor and enable relevant effective governance and compliance procedures to prevent & reduce financial waste.
·Contribute to a culture of customer service excellence, which builds positive relationships & provides opportunity for feedback and develop and ensure implementation of practices which build service delivery excellence.
·Ensure alignment of data goals with the reduction of total cost of ownership, long term support costs and landscape complexity.
·Identify interconnected problems, determine impact, patterns, trends & identify best fit alternatives to design & implement best practice solutions.
·Work in collaboration with IT stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of information technology solutions in line with data architecture.
·Assist and advise on the development of data architecture models that align products, channels, operations and systems within the organisation by displaying an understanding of the interdependence and integration of different systems and processes to make informed improvement recommendations in line with data architecture.
·Advise on the application of data practices, enhancing organisational solution effectiveness and value chain integrity together with specialist support, advice and resources to projects and initiatives.
·Develop organisation-wide strategy for data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation of a database and define the as is and target data architecture, develop solutions and plan and coordinate work to achieve and maintain the identified architecture.
·Contribute to the continual innovation of operational and business activities, processes & systems in service of performance enhancement and risk exposure liability.
·During performance assessment: provide feedback, instruction & development guidance to help others excel in their current or future responsibilities and demonstrate leadership behaviour
·Relevant bachelor's degree
·8 – 10 years in a similar environment of which 2 – 3 years at a senior specialist level
