Job Description

Function:                               Digital and Direct Marketing Implementation & reporting
Reports to:                           Head of Marketing
 
Key Accountabilities
PPC: Pay per click advertising via Google.co.za and other search engines. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Ad creation
  • Campaign performance reporting and monitoring
  • Tracking and performance monitoring via Internal BI Systems, Google Adwords, Google DoubleClick and Google Analytics
SEO: Search engine optimisation to increase organic ranking for brand and loan related search terms in Google, Bing and Yahoo. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Content creation / management
  • Outreach to suitable link partners
  • Reporting, tracking and performance monitoring via Internal BI Systems, Search Console and Google Analytics as well as keyword rank monitoring
Display: Display marketing of banner adverts through various inventory including; Google Display Network, MSN, Yahoo etc. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Banner creation management (Jira)
  • Reporting, tracking and performance via Internal BI Systems, Google DoubleClick and Google Analytics
Affiliates: Affiliate marketing through the affiliate platform Impact Radius as well as 3rd party website management. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Affiliate platform management
  • Affiliate partner management (Communication, compliance and
  • Reporting, tracking and performance via Impact Radius, Internal BI Systems, DoubleClick and Google Analytics
Direct Response Social Media: Social Media marketing on Facebook, Twitter and other social platforms. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Reporting, tracking and performance via Facebook Ads / Twitter Ads, Internal BI Systems, Google DoubleClick and Google Analytics
Social Media PR: Social Media for South Africa’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Agency content approval
  • Image and content management via the Facebook / Twitter and / or Meedee8 platform
  • New content creation (Scam warnings, competitions etc.)
Direct Marketing: Email and SMS marketing to new and existing customers. This includes (but not limited to):
  • Marketing email template population
  • SMS sends and management via Grapevine
  • Email sends and management via ExactTarget
  • Reporting and tracking via ExactTarget, Google Analytics and Internal BI Systems
Tracking, Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on campaign performance through various tools. This includes (but not limited to):
  • All channel digital marketing performance monitoring
  • Analysis of marketing performance and reporting across all channels
Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Relevant marketing or tech degree / diploma / certification
  • Google Adwords Certification (PPC)
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Understanding / Experience in SEO
  • Experience with Display Retargeting and RTB campaigns
  • Understanding of application funnels, tracking and tag manager / containers
  • Direct Marketing (Email and SMS advantageous)
  • Experience with DoubleClick advantageous
  • HTML skills advantageous
  • Photoshop skills advantageous
Working in a CPA driven environment advantageous
