Our client is on the hunt for a talented intermediate-/senior PHP developer to join their phenomenal marketing team.  They are looking for a top class developer with exceptional skills in: PHP, MySQL, CCS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, XML, Linux and GITHUB. The candidate will work closely with the in-house designers to execute new websites/systems and revise current websites/systems in order to make intuitive, elegant and better user experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Work closely with the team (from client service through to production) to develop high quality campaigns within the parameters of the creative brief and business objectives of the client
  • Together with a design team, help craft concepts into original, relevant and impactful communications and follow through to the completion of the job whilst maintaining explicit attention to detail and adhering to time scales
  • Give constructive input into all campaigns and activities relating to these (brainstorming sessions, audio recordings, client meetings etc.)
  • Ensure that all deadlines are met, check every aspect of every job - thus eliminating errors and ensuring work going out is of the highest quality
  • Adherence to deadlines and aiding the preparation of presentations
 
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in computer science or an equivalent degree - Non negotiable
  • At least five years in software development
  • Application of various development methodologies including Agile
  • Great understanding in developing principles/strong back-end/front-end skills
  • A great passion for technology and the online space

 Remuneration:
Salary negotiable based on experience. Budget capped at R360 000 p/a
