Hire Purchase Manager
Reports to Head of Branch
Subordinates: Project Manager of Partner Relations(2+1), HP Proceeding Team (dotted line, up to 4 people)
Under general direction, this position’s primary responsibilities include all aspects of profitable and sustainable HP business development in Estonia.
Main areas of responsibility: 
Expected outcomes:
  1. HP Strategy Further Development
  • HP business model that grows and maintains competitiveness in profitable way.
  • Product portfolio is attractive and up-to-date with newest developments to serve the needs of existing and new partners/customers.
  • competitive advantages are regularly identified and developed in line with marketplace dynamics.
  • Client portfolio is regularly updated and new partners approached according to market opportunities.
  1. Develop HP Partner Portfolio
  • Existing partner agreements are analysed in connection with renewals and modifications and modifications are applied to ensure continuity in business relationships.
  • New and existing partner´s needs are solved with appropriate loan structures and models.
  • Periodic reviews of existing partner´s portfolios to assess credit quality and covenant compliance are reported regularly and timely.
  • Complies regular reports on partner´s customers borrowing base and performance to ensure borrowing base availability as well as to detect any variation and risk.
  1. Develop network on Main Producers and non-traditional partners
  • We have network of producers who provide products to current HP partners in order to seek potential direct partnerships with them.
  • Have set of producers who are open for three-way partnerships between them and retail partners.
  • We have approach to continuously monitor and seek HP-related partnership opportunities in non-traditional businesses.
  • We have set of non-competitive partners to cross-promote the each other products and services to respective customer base.
  1. HP Team and Department Management
  • Effective and efficient work organized in HP Team.
  • Timely and accurate reporting.
  • Representation of HP deprtment in EE Management Team.
  • Functional Partner to Group HP Management.

Manages the HP  Department within the Bank´s policies and procedures.

  1. Experience
Previous experience (3+ years) in HP and/or Key Account Management with major retailers as representative of producer.
Experience in:
  • Negotiations and partnerships with large retail chains.
  • HP system set-up both process-wise and financially whether in provider and/or retailer side.
  • Business Modelling.
  • Financial Planning of Parterships and Portfolio Management.  
  • Financial analysis programs and discounted cash flow models
  • People/Team Management
  1. Knowledge and skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good interpersonal skills, team oriented, and strong customer service skills
  • Project Management
