Job Description

1.    Software Implementation:

Implements ECM software for clients by configuring solutions, creating specifications, working with development teams and leading the implementation process.

  • Undertake the lead role in configuration of ECM solutions to ensure the documented requirements are met.
  • Undertake the lead role in the creation of requirements specifications to satisfy ECM software client’s requirements.
  • Undertake the lead role in the implementation of ECM solutions which satisfy the client’s requirements.
  • Be responsible of the review and approval of all documents with reference to ECM Implementations.
  • Work with the Development team(s), both internal and external to ensure the correct solution is documented and created.
  • Ensure technical issues are recorded in Jira and/or other helpdesk system and kept up to date.
  • Assume responsibility for the technical aspects of ECM Implementation projects.
  • Be responsible for the review and handover of all implementation projects to clients with reference to ECM Implementations.
  • Interface with clients as required throughout the implementation cycle of ECM products to ensure the solution satisfies the need.
  • Interface with the project management team working together to build workable schedules.
  • Working with adherence to the agreed implementation and project management processes.

 

2.    Customer Management

Promotes the provision of services to clients and potential clients by leading the software implementation process and making product presentations.

  • Deliver required service levels according to company policies and client agreements.
  • Provide product presentations, demonstrations and lead technical conversations with current and potential customers

 

3.    Business Analysis 

Identifies client requirements via the following:

  • Eliciting and documenting functional requirements from customers 
  • Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing ECM software, hardware and IT processes 
  • Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment 
  • Design and execute testing procedures to extract data from test runs 
  • Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behaviour 
  • Create project plans for information technology development and testing.
  • Translate requirements into new information technology project specifications.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage risks associated with projects.
  • Identify business or customer requirements and information technology alternatives


Technical/Computer Knowledge

  • PC literate (Fully proficient with XP, MS office, particularly Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to use Project tools e.g. MS Project, Visio, and MS etc
  • Technical competence – MS Operating Systems, SQL Server 2008, 2012 / Oracle databases, Virtualisation products and MS Office applications.  
  • Linux, and Unix knowledge beneficial
  • An understanding of web application deployment (ASP.Net preferable)
  • IIS, Networking, Load Balancing skills
  • Practical knowledge of procedures for installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting application software, hardware and peripherals
  • Good knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2014, Server 2016, VMware and Citrix knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of PC skills including Networking and Internet technology would be beneficial.

Experience

  • 5+ years proven experience in an implementation position and have delivered high value. 
  • Strong understanding of projects life cycle.
  • Experience of delivering high value projects in a project management or implementation position.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, technologies and tools
  • Experience of delivering high value projects in a project management or implementation position.
  • Competent in process analysis and risk assessment/mitigation

Working Conditions

  • Extensive travel by any mean appropriate (Car, Public Transport or Air)  
  • Typical work requires 40 hours. 
  • Position may require additional hours, overtime & standby to complete special projects or meet deadlines
