Job Description

  1. Technology enabled transformation with a key focus on BI:
    1. Focus on delivery through BI applications  
    2. Define and create a solution using various BI toolsets
    3. Ability to delve into detail and steer solutions with clients, while maintaining an overview of the holistic objectives;
    4. Ability and experience to make decisions and steer technology design, utilising current standards and guidance from other senior advisors.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
  1. Client-facing consulting / technology implementations
  2. Oracle DW / ODI & Microsoft BI stack experience
  3. SQL and ETL experience
  4. Worked on large volumes of data
  5. Business Analysis and Design (4+ years)
  6. BI Implementation & development (4+ years);
 
The following qualifications will be considered (in order of preference):
  1. BEng (Industrial);
  2. BComm (relevant);
  3. BSc (relevant);
  4. IT/IS Diploma
The following additional certifications would be an advantage:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar);
  • Certified Business Intelligence Courses or equivalent
  • Supply Chain Certification (APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or similar);
 
The following skills and competencies are required:
  • Client engagement management;
  • Microsoft SQL Stack ,Oracle Warehouse Builder / Data integrator
  • Core Consulting Skills;
  • Project Management tools and skills;
  • Business Analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skill (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Working exposure to project/delivery management approaches (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC);
