Job Description

This role is responsible for the delivery of a variety of IT services to support business objectives.
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the service delivery lifecycle within the delivery team. He/she will have oversight of the engagement of the team with all stakeholders across the enterprise. Collaborate across enterprise with process owners, channel owners, legal, compliance, and users, creating solutions that are synergistic to the platform. Engages stakeholders on service design requirements, usability, ease of use, and work closely with change management and the architectural team to incorporate best practices and design into the services platform. The incumbent must be able to leverage process analytics in conjunction with qualitative data for continual process improvements.
The incumbent will also apply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for each client.
  • Provides thought leadership (operational and tactical focus) in area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for infrastructure management in area of responsibility.
  • Manages CRM in area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for IT Contracts Management.
  • Responsible for change management around IT Implementations and upgrades.
  • Responsible for clear and effective communication to team and business.
  • Provides technical consulting services where required.
  • Accountable for financial management in area of responsibility.
  • Manages Projects,
  • Responsible for people management – includes talent management, change leadership.
  • Ensures continuous service (e.g. COBIT definition).
  • Ensures systems security (e.g. COBIT).
  • Aligns technology to business needs.
Budget Control
  • Responsible for the financial management of the area, including budget setting and expense and income monitoring.
IT Solution Delivery Management
  • Ensures continuous service and systems security.
  • Oversees the functional unit and is accountable for the efficient operation of the area.
  • Provides thought leadership (operational and tactical focus) for IT resources.
  • Responsible for aligning technology and technology support to business needs.
  • Responsible for infrastructure management in area of responsibility.
Team Effectiveness

Vendor & Contract Management
  • Manages the relationship between service providers, including negotiations, contractualisation, service and support (SLAs).
  • Responsible for IT Contracts Management.
  • Matric, plus relevant 3 year degree/diploma qualification.
  • 5 – 7 years relevant IT work experience
  • Must have 3-5 years management experience in an IT application environment
  • Must have working knowledge of financial management
  • Must have working knowledge of Project Management
  • Must have SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Knowledge and Experience
  • Must have either Software Development or Business Analysis background
  • Must have IT Demand Management and IT Delivery Management experience.
