Job Description

Purpose:
To support and enable enterprise sales and achievement of the Consumer Goods, Health & Technology vertical growth strategy.
To prioritize investment in existing and new products and services, identify opportunities to gain competitive advantage, understand and capitalize on trends in ICT, and incorporate technology solutions to provide competitive parity or advantage and improved margins.

Responsibilities
Strategy
  • Define the strategy and set 3-5 year aspirations for the Consumer Goods, Health & Technology vertical(i.e., overall 2020 flight plan)
  • Define and achieve annual/quarterly revenue / profitability targets for the Financial Servicesvertical, in line with the strategy
  • Serve as the architect of the national growth strategies, continuing to gain share while leading theeffort to serve the Consumer Goods, Health & Technology vertical
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and monitor sales metrics and translate them into financial terms to the Chief Private Enterprise Sales

Financial (Satisfied Stakeholders)
  • Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the business strategy and goals
  • Monitor financial performance continuously against set financial targets, forecast and identifying new opportunities for improved performance
  • Determine appropriate sales strategies in private sector market segments towards maximizing the revenues
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures for the vertical to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
  • Implement corrective action timeously to address deviations from the financial targets
Customers (Satisfied Customers)
  • Ensure a customer and sales-oriented mind-set implemented
  • Ensure effective Customer Account Planning
  • Make decisions regarding staff, message and strategy on a clear understanding of what private customers need and how the Company can best position itself to compete effectively

Operational (Agile, Effective and Seamless Organisation)
  • Define, lead and oversee the Consumer Goods, Health & Technology vertical accounts portfolio and strategy
  • Learn, understand and document the strategic corporate customers’ business strategies, priorities and goals
  • Ensure the creation of integrated ICT-solutions with internal stakeholders and external partnerships that will build the corporate market customers’ success profiles
  • Ensure the development and positioning of a compelling value proposition to the corporate market customers

Qualifications
Relevant degree  in IT, Engineering or Commerce
MBA desirable
