Our client is looking for an experienced digital and social media content creator/community manager to join their dynamic team.  The successful applicant will be an energetic individual with a flair for words and is tech-obsessed.  You would need a passion for the digital and social media landscape with at least 3-5 years of experience and track record in the social media environment.

Key responsibilities
  • To manage all the brands within their group’s social media channels across all social media platforms and/or websites that support the values and brand awareness
  • To continuously engage and analyse across all of the social media channels to achieve the business and brand objectives
  • Be part of planning, creating and scheduling of the social media strategies across channels
  • Create content (copy) for channels
  • Be able to check, monitor and report on distribution, responses and stats of  monthly content across the channels
  • Contribute useful insight towards improving various social media metrics
  • Identify areas or opportunities to improve and grow the brand social media platforms through continuously learning and knowledge sharing
  • Maintaining a specific tone and style online, appropriate to the brands
  • Recognise, evaluate and implement new social media developments, trends and identify new opportunities
  • Identifying new platforms where we can capitalise growth
  • Attend brand activations, status meetings, workshops and events as and when required
  • Actively engage in the agency’s work environment and deliver high-quality work
  • Regularly report on social media platform metrics along with recommendations
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in social media marketing
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic with a passion for all things social
  • Excellent grasp and flair for English
  • Thorough understanding of Facebook advertising suite and all social media platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO and email marketing software will be advantageous
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Deliver on the distribution results and outcome of the campaign
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong editorial writing skills, impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Very high attention to detail
  • A passion for social media knowledge and best practices on platforms
  • Tertiary qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) in advertising/copywriting/social media
  • A creative portfolio
