Main Purpose of the Job
Provide professional Network operational support for our customer environment.
Primary responsibilities are the management of the network environment implementations, monitoring, and maintenance.
This role requires a highly proactive approach and will be expected to lead and drive continual improvements to maintain a highly stable networking infrastructure.
Manage and resolve all calls. Ensure service levels are met for all logged calls, while maintaining a high; level of customer satisfaction that meets the Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Job Requirements:
Main Responsibilities / Tasks

Troubleshoot, manage and resolve of network related calls
Proactive problem identification and resolution

On-going maintenance (housekeeping, health checks etc.)
Use of Monitoring systems and tools
Installation and configuration of network equipment
Creating and Maintaining Documentation
Ensuring that response times are kept within the parameters set in the SLA.
Reporting status to management. Identifying problems and bringing them to the Manager attention with sufficient lead time to avert crises.
Working effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team goals.
Broadening own technical, functional, and industry skill base.
Engaging in formal and informal knowledge transfer.

Formal Qualifications Required
Essential / Desirable
Extensive networking experience essential Administration, Planning and Implementation
Network support and troubleshooting
CCNA essential
CCNP essential

Job Related Experience Required
Essential / Desirable
In depth knowledge of relevant functional area
Strong people skills
Methodical and strong administration skills
Ability to deal with senior levels of client personnel
Strong client service skills including the ability to deal with all levels of computer literacy
Strong oral and written communication skills
