Job Description


  • Align framework, strategy and vision by driving operational excellence culture by facilitating continuous improvement workshops with teams
  • Facilitate training and track standards to ensure understanding of, and alignment to CI concepts, practices, methods and business cases
  • Cultivate and facilitate strong customer relations to secure on-going business and expansion opportunities
  • Assume overall accountability for continuous improvement project identification, prioritisation and selection, tracking of project results, monitoring project progress and reporting on progress toward business objectives
  • Identify and manage resources required for successful execution of continuous improvement activities (i.e. to lead, coach, train and mentor teams in effective events)
  • Monitor the services provided to customers to ensure SLA standards are being achieved
  • Identify value adding initiatives through leveraging the groups services and capabilities



  • Continuous improvement of business processes and functioning



  • Grade 12 tertiary qualification
  • Industrial Engineering degree or Masters 
  • 5 years operational experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management (Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, SCOR, Transport Management, SOP, Inventory Management, Business Process Re-Engineering etc.)

  • Operational excellence
  • Identify value adding opportunities, eliminate waste, work independently and through cross functional teams
  • Continuous improvement innovation
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management knowledge (problem-solving, analytical competence, client centricity etc.)
  • General business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, fundamental financials, detail orientated, use of initiative etc.
  • Leadership skills (negotiation, building relationships, ability to influence etc.)
  • Computer literacy and presentation skills including VISIO
  • Advanced solution and process focused (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
