Role Purpose

To plan, direct and coordinate a program of projects to ensure program goals are met and that projects are executed as expected.

 Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
 Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
 Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members
 Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders
 Resolve all customer queries efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
 Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress
 Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
 Manage projects from concept through business case
development to implementation and manage multiple, diverse projects at any one time through Project progress monitoring and reporting and

Project scoping and planning
 Conduct scope and change request management with dependency identification and management.
 Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data
 Manage own development to increase own competencies
 Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies

Additional Requirements:
 Experience with implementing large system implementations and deployments 
 Project management experience in system changes and migration (advantageous)

Qualifications and Experience
 Relevant Degree or Diploma
 3 to 5 years project management experience.
