Position description
Manage the companies Business for the territory of the RSA and achieve or exceed budgeted sales targets short and long term, via a combination of direct selling activities and distributor support. The successful candidate shall have several years of successful sales experience, capital sales experience and chanel management experience. Experience in the Intra-logistics industry will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities and tasks
  • Profitable growth
    • Penetration of new customer segments and geographic expansion
    • Improve distribution network in revenue potential, geographic scope and segment coverage
  • Excellent customer relations and reputation
  • Gather and structure market information and trends
  • Operational Excellence
· Primary Functions:
o Establish and maintain Forecasts
o Analyze plan and actual with target and establish and execute action plans where and when necessary
o Develop market opportunities 
o Develop and follow up on Business plan for the Region to achieve budgeted targets
o Market Analysis
o Product and Service Development
o Marketing
· Dealer Management
o Develop Distributor Network in qualitative and quantitative terms
o Support Dealer to ensure they understand the needed resources to achieve target (Dealer Sales people, training)
o Support in closing orders with Dealer sales people
o Support dealers in growing
o Establish and maintain action plan per dealer
o Identify and develop new distribution opportunities
o Liaison for Life Cycle Services (LCS)
· Develop/ Maintain Region to achieve long and short term goals
o Marketing Strategies
o Gather Input from Dealers
o Monitor market for trend changes, competition, new opportunities, developments
o Identify new Market potentials and specific market segments
o Initiate and coordinate local marketing activities such as seminars, local exhibitions, campaigns, etc.
Language skills:
English (fluent or at advanced level)
· Education to Degree Level
Relevant work-experience:
· Essential : Several years of successful sales experience
· Essential : Chanel management experience
· Essential : Experience in capital sales
· Desirable : Experience in creative solution sales process.
· Desirable : Experience of intra-logistics industry
