POSITION PURPOSE:
The Senior Front-End Developer will be tasked with building a range of creative of
web applications.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Assesses the needs of client and provides features in the website accordingly
• Writes well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software
development practices
• Creates site layout / user interface by using HTML / CSS / Javascript /

Bootstrap practices
• Integrates data from various front-end and back-end services / databases.
• Creates and maintains software documentation in Jira and / or Confluence
• Communicates project status and deliverables with managers and clients
• Quality checks code, tests for bugs, works with creative team (UX Designer
and Graphic Designer) to match visual design intent before handing over to
Quality Assurance team

SKILLS, SPECIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Experience in the following technologies: Webpack; Express; ReAct;
Redux; Backbone; Angular 1 and 2; ES6 and SASS. PHP – to be
determined, since this not the primary skillset required
• Jira and Confluence

• Knowledge of international web standards and protocols
• Creativity and imagination
• Ability to adapt to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology
and its effects on the business environment

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or B.Tech or National Diploma in IT,
Software Engineering, Web Development, Programming or equivalent
qualification
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including Backbone, SASS,
Express, etc.
• A minimum of 3-5 year’s web development experience
