The Project Manager will join one of our Financial Service Provider teams, and work in close collaboration with the FSP partner on integration with the Jumo platform. The Project Manager will take day-to-day responsibility for the smooth and effective running of a variety of projects. Applicants should have a solid grounding in the principles of project management, appropriate methodologies and processes, while at the same time being flexible and able to operate in a fluid and fairly unstructured environment. A good understanding of stakeholder management, project initiation, project tracking, risk and issue analysis and quality assurance is essential. Additionally, the role will involve overseeing and implementing the ongoing operational functions of the team. Self-starting and proactive applicants will thrive in the role.
Key responsibilities Manage and deliver multiple work streams for projects in the financial services arena to agreed scope, timings, budget and quality Work with internal teams to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects At the start of a project, analyse the areas that could potentially throw the delivery off track, log risks, create a mitigation plan and actively mitigate against them Ensure that internal and external sign-offs are obtained on all key project deliverables, and that you have an audit trail to protect yourself if things go wrong Be the hub of communication for the project – in regular contact with internal and external stakeholders engaged in delivering our products Be on top of projects and know their status (key milestones, budgets, resourcing etc.) Assess the time and financial impact of changes and communicate to stakeholders Be firm but fair in judgement: push back when scope creeps or suggested budgets are not realistic whilst understanding the constraints of the stakeholders. Be responsible for ensuring that relevant internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date on project developments: changes in timings, costs and any issues arising. Manage the ongoing operational function of the team Manage all operational reporting requirements for the team Continually enhance and improve operational systems, processes and policies.

Skills and competencies
Formal qualification, ideally a degree or project management-related qualification 4+ years’ experience in project management or business analysis Experience working in financial services preferred Excellent problem-solving, time management, planning and organisational skills Ability to work to tight deadlines, multi-task, prioritise and handle a diverse workload Professional communication, with strong written and verbal skills
