The incumbent is expected to develop and apply his knowledge and skills in the day to day running of the Melrose Arc office. Work with clients and all level of personnel, in both technical and business-related capacity. The ability to communicate both with technical and non-technical people, verbally and in writing
Support all Mondi IT systems at relevant sites.
Support for Mondi systems including Servers, Desktops, Video conferencing, printers and networking equipment.
Support for Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products and related Mondi licensed desktop software.
Ensure that all the documentation and procedures concerning systems are updated and followed.
Ensure that daily/weekly/monthly tasks are followed as per the detailed checklists
Liaise with outside vendors ensuring minimum downtime to the Mondi systems.
Supervise work undertaken by hardware, software suppliers and contractors to ensure quality meets standards.
Obtain an in depth understanding of the infrastructure installations
Ensure relevant documentation for the above is up to date:
Identify areas for service improvement from all the above. Ensure a process of continuous improvement is carried out.
Assist with proof of concept testing when required. Provide input and assist with infrastructure expansion designs and installations.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Respond to calls logged within SLA General system calls, Maintenance Tasks, Change Controls and escalations.
Resolve any relevant onsite system issues
Four years experience as a MCSE or MCSA on Desktop hardware, server hardware, Networking and related software.
MCSA, CCNA Collaboration
A broad knowledge on Desktop hardware, server hardware, networking and related software.
A broad knowledge in Computer Networking, Server Applications and Operating Systems is essential
