Job Description

The UI/UX Designer reports directly to the Head of UI/UX and the primary purpose of the role is to develop delightful end-to-end customer experiences across the entire device landscape

Minimum Requirements:
•A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related work experience.
•3+ years experience in user-centered design with hands-on experience from initial wireframes to developing prototypes and providing final assets.
• Professional background as a UI/UX designer in mass-market web and mobile products.
•Strong UX skill set including strategy, information architecture, design aesthetic, and usability testing.
•Proven understanding of interaction design concepts and a unique sense of design principles.
•Familiarity with Agile Development.
•Positive attitude and ability to provide and receive constructive feedback

Skills & Competencies:
•Proficiency in Adobe Suite and wire-framing tools like Axure. 
•Able to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
•Very strong communication skills, both written and oral, with natural ability to articulate and defend design decisions and run work sessions.
•Problem-solving skills.
•A good working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3 and JavaScript Libraries.
•Understanding of responsive design principals and device specific best practices (iOS and Android).

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Design, plan, and refine user experience and flow for multiple devices, through preproduction, release, and live operations.
•Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to create delightful user experiences.
•Conceptualize UI/UX designs through wireframes, flow diagrams, prototyping and designs.
•Communicate designs and design rationale clearly, to the team and to management or others as needed.
•Orchestrate feedback loops including user testing and respond to the results to improve on designs.
•Understand the user; how they use the product and enhance the user interface design to better help the division meet business goals.
